Radio Presenter Chases K.K. Fosu & Kofi Nit For Cash

K.K. Fosu
Much as stakeholders work around the clock to bring the country’s entertainment industry to a respectable level, some players continue to engage in acts which do not only bring their own integrity, reputation and professionalism into question, but also drag the entire industry into disrepute.

Presently, a radio presenter, Anim Addo is on the heels of two of the nations’ finest highlife musicians Kofi Nit (of Rakia fame) and K.K. Fosu for the refund of an amount of GH¢1,600, the two (musicians) collected but for which they did not work for.

According to the radio presenter although all attempts to reach the two music stars for his money has proved futile since both of them have changed their mobile phone numbers, he is determined to use all legal means to collect his money at all cost.

Available information indicates that sometime in December last year, Anim Addo and his team contracted the highlife musicians, Kofi Nti and K.K. Fosu to perform at a pre-Xmas event at Mamfe-Akuapem in the Eastern Region on December, 23. They were subsequently paid GH¢1000 and GH¢600 respectively whilst arrangement for their lodging was all put in place.

By the terms of the contract, the musicians were to be in Mamfe in the afternoon of the day of the event so that they could be driven around the town for the residents to know that their favourite stars were indeed in for the concert.

However after collecting the money, the musicians failed to fulfill their part of the contract. Indeed, it is alleged that K.K Fosu never stepped in Mamfe whilst Kofi Nit arrived in the town after midnight when the event had long ended.

Obviously having failed to fulfill their part of the agreement, the two musicians did not only apologize to the organizers for their unprofessional conduct but also agreed to refund the monies paid to them. However, that was the last time the organizers heard from them and all attempts to reach them for the promised refund have proved futile.

Attempts by the P&P to reach the two highlife musicians for their comments were unsuccessful. Keep reading for more
