Female Musician Who Exposed Her Genitalia On Stage Revealed!!!!

Raquel on stage

Sweet sultry singer, Raquel has been identified as the Ghanaian artiste who inadvertently or otherwise exposed her genitalia live on stage in-front of a crowd of over 2000, at the just ended Decemba2Rememba (D2R) 2011 hiplife concert, on Christmas Eve at the main hall of the Accra International Conference Centre.

The incident occurred when the “Sweetio” singer, dressed to kill in a sea blue silky straight attire, appeared on stage without any panties and gave free viewing access to her sex organ whiles she was performing on stage. Even though the back of her sleeveless dress was okay, lengthwise, the front was cut too low; above her knee and midway to her hips.

When Raquel was happily singing her latest smash hit “Sweetio” which featured Sarkodie, she allegedly positioned herself in such a way that some members in the audience, especially on the front row including Peacefmonline.com’s Entertainment Reporter, Eugene Osafo-Nkansah, Stone of GTV, and Nana Yaw of Nanayaw18.com amongst others, were left with no choice than to feast their eyes on something else.

Some photographers at the front row including Andy Addison of Citifmonline.com and Gifty Lawson of News One were somehow fortunate enough to capture Raquel showing the entire flesh of her private part. Interestingly, this was also shown on the two projectors mounted on either side stage, albeit in a flash, and those in the auditorium who had their eyes focused on the projectors at that particularly moment were witnesses to the rather unnerving spectacle.

A number of media men including celebrity blogger Ameyaw Debrah of ameyawdebrah.com, Chris Twum of the Chronicle, Journalist and PR Obed Boafo, Nana Yaw of Nanayaw18.com and Eugene Osafo-Nkansah later visited the offices of News One to see the semi-nude pictures for themselves.

In the said picture, Raquel who is not really an active dancer, had her thighs tightly closed, meaning it was because her stage attire was cut too short and seemed to be the case anytime she moved her hands upwards as part on her stage craft.

Peacefonline.com investigations into the first celebrity scandal in 2012 reveal that Citi FM, organizers of the D2R concert event are in possession of some of the nude shots but have refused to release them.

Entertainment newspaper, News One, have in their possession similar shots of the singer’s semi-nude pictures. They even promised to publish the pictures for their readers, on Friday January 6, 2012, according to a publication in the newspaper on Wednesday December 29, 2011.

But for some reason (perhaps due to pressure brought to bear on them from civil society and leading individuals), the tri-weekly newspaper reneged on its word, at least for now. According to the Friday, January 6, 2012 front page story headlined “Big Names Beg Over Vagina”, the newspaper claims several influential people in the country have been pleading with them not to release the pictures for the sake of the artiste’s career and respect for womanhood.

The newspaper mentioned names like Ambassador Kabral Blay-Amihere, Chairman of the National Media Commission, Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) President Bice “Obour” Osei-Kufuor, former National Women’s Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Daavi Ama, News Editor of Peace FM Alhaji Issa Monnie, Rev. Opambour Adarkwa Yiadom of the Ebenezer Miracle Worship Center and other notable persons as some of the people who have called to intervene in the matter.

Even though Raquel has not spoken publicly about the incident, MUSIGA released a statement admitting that the musician did indeed expose her private part, explaining that it was a costume faux-pas. The statement released by the umbrella body for Ghanaian musicians further pleaded with the media not to release the said photos.

Meanwhile, Peace FM’s “Entertainment Review” crew on Thursday, tried contacting Raquel but the sultry singer failed to pick up her phone whiles that of Crepy (the artiste’s manager) was switched off.

For now, it remains unclear whether the act of exposure was intentional or accidental as Peacefmonline.com is yet to find out why a most promising Ghanaian female musician, decided to mount a stage in the presence of over 2,000 people without any form of underwear.

However, Peacefmonline.com investigations have unearthed a picture of Raquel on stage on the night of D2R in the same posture, but in this shot, she was “covered up”. We have decided to share the picture with our cherished visitors to the site for them to have an idea of how Raquel was dressed when she appeared on stage.
