The duo, comprising of Andrew Kofi Cudjoe and Joshua Ampah appear to be the toast of music lovers who eagerly await to see the 2012 Ghana Music Award nominated artiste mount the stage for this year’s Independence celebrations in the United Kingdom.
With thousands of party rave heads and their teeming fans expected to be part of the Independence Club Tour, one can imagine the exploding response from the crowd when the group performs their banging hit songs, “Sorkorde”, “Pressure” and “Aluguntugui”.
In a telephone interview, the group revealed their excitement at the reception on their arrival in London for the Independence Club Tour. However, they were full of gratitude to God for his traveling mercies
and favour on them.
“It is just amazing how we have been received here and I am honestly humbled by the reception so far. We promise to give a great and memorable show. I urge other African nationals to join in the
celebrations” according to Edwin Edinkrah, manager of KECHE.
The group will be performing at The Coronet Club in London (Abacus in London) on the 9TH and 17TH March 2012 before moving on to the final gig which is scheduled for 24TH March 2012 at The Post Club
in Birmingham.
Aside KECHE, other artistes from Ghana performing on the Club tour include Gasmilla of “Aboodatoi” fame and Ghana’s finest comedian cum musician, Funny Face. They will be supported by UK based
artistes such as Fuse ODG, Tinchy Stryder and Donaeo.”
The celebrations will witness the recognition of Hiplife legend Reggie Rockstone with a Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to the development and commercialization of the Ghana Music Industry over the years. Also, Reggie will make appearances on the Club Tour.
