T-Pain live in Ghana concert postponed to Dec 24

The much anticipated T-Pain Live in Ghana concert will now be held on December 24, instead of the earlier announced date of December 22, event organizers 233Connect has indicated, Wednesday.

While they will confirm reasons why the show has been shifted to the new date, the Nappy Boy has been billed to perform in Lagos, Nigeria on December 23 and organizers think it will be suitable and prudent to have him here after that show.

The source said the December 24 date which falls on a Saturday – which is weekend - appears suitable and favourable to the organizers and T-Pain than the December 22 date which falls on a Thursday.

With this new announcement, T-Pain is expected to spend his Christmas here and may leave Ghana on the 26, Boxing Day.

Another information reaching Dj Blay is that Sarkodie who has been billed to perform on the show has pulled out of the event citing a near clash with his Rapperholic album launch concert which falls on December 25.

According to the source, Sarkodie said he may not get ample time to rest and rehearse for his concert at the Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre.

Organisers have however named Keche and Yaw Siki as new acts joining VIP, Kwaw Kese, and Buk Bak to perform at the concert. There are hints that another major artiste will also be named soon to perform at the event.
