Ray and Cash 2 are the duo behind most of the good rhythms currently in the Ghanaian Music Industry.

Recently, there have been tremendous changes in the music industry with the choice of words and sound that fits the popular Azonto dance and Ray and Cash2 are not left out in terms of sound production.

The two sound engineers Nana Yaw Nkrumah known as Dr Ray and George Bennisah known as Cash 2 are the brain behind hits sound like Akoo Nana’s Mwai, Castro’s do the dance, Screw face celebogolo, atsu koliko Levels, Gazo's Hold ur waist K2's Juliana and many other songs that are raiding the Ghanaian market.

As every sound engineer needs creativity in his line of work, the two friends say they have all the creative aspects for the industry, therefore, they call their studio the “Globewaves Entertainment” with the aim of sending their rhythm to the international level in the coming years.
They continued that taking their brand of the Ghanaian music international is their dream and believe with their inspiration from God, knowledge and strength will always be their bonus in game of producing music.
“The collapse of the Ghana music industry is their greatest fear, due to the level they want to move the industry to, and always pray it either remains like this or improves” Ray disclosed.
Adane Best’s Gyata Bi, and Reggie Zippy’s Victims and Badd man were done by the two, who are currently working with Kofi Nti, T Blaze, Double, Atumpan, Old Soldier, Trigmatic, Ruff& Smooth, Nana Achampong, Christiana love, Dsp kofi Sarpong, Okurasini Samuel, ruff n Smooth, Old soldier, d flex, Barosky, Wutah kobby, Buk-bak, Amaba, k unit, Castro, Kofi nti, Kofi Bee,k2, Richie rich,
and others, among others on their new album, which will soon be made public.


The sound ‘tycoons’ were operating underground until Sidney, now Barima, walked into the studio to record his Forso track, followed by Reggie Zippy, and Dadabees. These artistes were the first famous artists the duo worked with, after being in the industry for five years.

Globewaves does all music genres – hi-life, hip-life, gospel, R&B and so on. The single boys do not only engage themselves in sound engineering, Dr. Ray is into Web and Graphic designing, as he studied it at the NIIT, and George, noted as Cash2, is an Electrical Engineer, who studied at the Emit technical Institute.
