Chris Brown Fined For “Scary” Artwork On Compound Wall

Chris Brown Fined For “Scary” Artwork On Compound Wall
Chris Brown took his affinity for graffiti to the side of his house via some colorful, monstrous blobs, and some of his neighbors have complained bitterly about the graffiti. He now faces a $367 fine, which could increase significantly.
Brown has responded publicly via Twitter.
Patti Negri, president of the Hollywood Dell Civic Association told the L.A. Times that the art is frightening local children. “There are lots of babies, lots of children, and they’re literally frightened. It’s like devils on the wall — big scary eyes and big scary teeth, and just the whole vibe is not what we’re used to.”
She said that she hopes they can all just get along. “I know a $300 fine is probably pocket change. But hopefully and maybe, he’ll just see the light and decide to be a good neighbor … We’re happy to have him — if he just tones it down.”
On the other hand, Brown said the children are better off indoors if his monsters are too much. He tweeted, “Keep em inside then! It’s art. There are scarier creatures on Harry potter. Get a f–king life!”
His attorney, Mark Geragos is not yielding to the neighborhood association either. He said it’s a matter of the first amendment and the fine threat is the latest in a series of harassing moves.
“I’m scared of neighborhood busybodies like this. They’ve called animal control. They have sicced parking [enforcement] on him, and now they reached the heights of ridiculousness here. Shame on them.”
L.A. city code officials have ordered Brown to remove the “excessive signage” within 30 days.

REVEALING! Smoking Marijuana Relaxes Me – Genevieve Nnaji

Genevieve Nnaji
According to veteran producer, Charles Novia, Genevieve Nnaji has a secret dirty habit of smoking, which alot of people didnt know about:
 QUOTE .
I remember on the third day of recording, one night while shooting at a clinic in Victoria Garden City Extension, I came out for a bit of fresh air while the technical people were setting up for the next scene. I saw Genevieve in a dark corner of the building, smoking a cigarette. ‘Whoops!
You caught me’, she said, laughing. ‘You smoke?’ I asked, a bit surprised. ‘Now and then. It relaxes me ’ she said. ‘Do you smoke?’ ‘Never have. Never will. But I don’t have any problems with people who smoke though.
But health wise, I hope you stop soon.’ I replied. ‘I am trying to. Sit with me a bit, lets talk about this scene ’ I sat with her and I explained some few things to her about the scene. We also talked about a bit of her stardom and how she was coping with it.
She was in a chatty mood and it was a revealing conversation. That evening, I saw a vulnerability in her, I had never seen before. This young lady, by a dint of her talent, hard work or fortune, had super stardom thrust upon her and seemed to have no private life anymore.
She had become one of the most recognizable faces in the continent and whilst enjoying the adulation, she was also coming to terms with the scrutiny of her Privacy, which was not too palatable to her.
I admired her courage and somehow felt that she would go places beyond Nollywood. I remember I told her so. Genevieve was quite particular about make-up. She would spend many minutes, ensuring that her face was well-powdered.

A Letter To Dr. Kwame Nkrumah By Nuhu Mohammed

Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah
I am sincerely glad and highly honored writing to you this day (21st Sept. 2012), your very 103rd birthday celebration. Without any doubt at all I strongly believe that God`s own angels are at your service throwing the biggest party ever for you.

I wish you a happy birthday and an ever lasting peace in your abode. A blissful Happy birthday to you and on this occasion, I want to bring to your notice, some pressing issues in our beloved Ghana. Dear Dr. Nkrumah, both my parents, the people I trust most have sincerely testified positively about your honesty to our motherland Ghana and the entire continent of Africa and its black race.

From your time of   departure from us, your successive colleagues in government have really shown us that you were truly an angel, a man of Dignity, a Peaceful, Loving and Caring angel in a human flesh, in fact we have really known the true meaning of politics and political parties and politicians.

They have messed up the country, sold us to slavery once again, looted our resources into their personal foreign accounts, brought back the poll tax ordinance, destroyed our educational system, made our farmers poor, and above all collapsed the numerous factories you built to provide employment for us and now they have sold all the remaining ones to white foreigners.

We are forced to sleep in the deepest of darkness without electricity, the little electricity is sold out without accountability , we are swallowed up by swamp of flies, engulfed  by filth, forced to sell on the streets , In a nutshell we have been deceived, lied to, enslaved, suppressed and taken for fools in our own motherland.

Our dire appeal to you is, we beg you to forgive us, on behalf of our old people and the current generation, we have come to our senses how we made our enemies fool us without us giving it a second thought. We pray you ask God to permit you to come to our rescue once again before they begin to sell us in boats and ships like they use to do.

Corruption and bribery and pen-robbery has engulfed us and we are sinking in its silt like never before, please save us.

Hoping to read your positive reply, Thank you.

Whizkid Gets Mad At Ghanaian Artist 'DXD'

DXD
DXD
It has come to our notice that Nigerian BET award winner, who is making lots of his unique style is not happy with current happenings as some artiste are biting on his style of music.Report from close source.

First on his list is Ghanaian Dawunixdawuni ‘DXD’ who released his ‘bump N grind’ video shot by pascal aka.The Bump N Grind video which claims has DXD singing exactly like him is set to start rolling across Africa through MTV base,Channel o,trace tv and sound-city. This big budgeted video is also definitely an investment for DXD’s label 360Degrees wouldn’t want to lose because of wizkid claims.DXD released “Bump and Grind” and Like Juju first week in August and “bump and grind” video premieres soon under his new management.360 Degrees believes these songs are forces to reckon with within the Ghanaian music industry and across the world hence they understand wizkid fear as DXD is equally capable of taking over his fan base especially in Ghana.

DXD is a Ghanaian Afro-Beat or Afro-pop /(Rapper/Singer) /composer/song writer/performer and a well rounded Musician who was Born and raised in Accra but hails from a Royal family in the northern part of Ghana Tamale to be precise.Born Suleihu Dawuni Adams, DXD loved music as a kid, but truly discovered his music potential at age thirteen during his JHS days. Prior to him discovering his talent, he was widely influenced by music’s from his parent’s collection from the likes of UB-40.BOB MARLEY, KOJO ANTWI, SIRINA ISSAH and the likes, then at the age of thirteen he started listening to the likes of NAS,JAY-Z,2PAC,NAUGHTY BY NATURE and a host of other hip-hop musicians.

DXD started out as a Hip-Hop artiste moving from one talent hunt to the other, one Radio station to the other for Rap Battles and was highly celebrated back then by his numerous music fans who knew him back then as SUPA SLAM, until quite recently, past experiences and maturity in growing up made him realize he needed a name that best suit him as a Ghanaian and an African for that matter, and that’s how come the name DXD came to being, with the D standing for DAWUNI which happens to be his middle name and the X standing for “xtraordinary” without the E and then the D standing for DAWUNI again.

DXD’s Music career got effective after the change of name when he decided to take to more singing than rap. His first commercial mainstream single after he slowed down on Hip-Hop was “BREAK YOUR BODY” which really got him into the public eye with heavy rotation all over the Night Clubs, Pubs and Radio Stations as well as heavy rotation on the African Beat on VOA (voice of America).
He did some major TV appearances like appearing on ETV’s Late Night Celeb Show as a discovery, also appeared on Crystal TV as the Guest Host for the entertainment show “SOUND BLAST” and also on Crystal TV’s Saturday Morning Show.

DXD has performed on a lot of big platforms like TV3’s “Music Music” as well as the TV3 festival trains. He’s also performed on giant communication platforms such as MTN, TIGO and VODAFONE Shows. He has also shared stage on Bola Rays Empire Entertainment with the likes of R2bees, Kwaw Kesse and any other big acts.

Quite recently DXD was hosted for an exclusive one hour interview on the African Beat on VOA with David Vandy..
