I Don’t Like Sugar Daddies- Debbie Vanessa

Deborah Vanessa
If you are an old man and have dreams of approaching TV star Deborah Vanessa for a love relationship, then you should forget it. This is because the cute lady hates the idea of dating what is famously known as sugar daddies. “I don’t like old men, no. I like young boys, young men, yeah not old men,” she told News-One in an exclusive interview. She added, “I don’t like arrogant cocky men, Men who think they can buy you with their money, it really turns me off. It is like an insult.”

The beautiful lady was named among five hottest women in Ghana a couple of weeks ago by 4Syte TV. She placed third on the list, behind Joselyn Dumas and Nadia, beating Becca and Stephanie Benson who came fourth and fifth respectively. She is one of the people making news in recent times. Deborah had stated that she is not dating now, though she said she had dated before. “I am not dating anybody. I am single and not searching. I am focusing on my career right now.

I don’t think it is right for me to sit and say I’m lonely and so am searching for a guy. Asked what her prospective man should be like, Deborah said, “it is always different because there was this Nigerian boy; I couldn’t stand him. He was bossy. He has a cute face though.

He pursued me like three months. Women love attention and like to be pampered so it was cool. I like someone who has good sense of humour. I like laughing, joking and fooling I don’t like guys who will say I’m silly because I did that. So you must have a good sense of humour. If even you are not successful, you should he hardworking. You have to have something going.

Big Brother Stargame kicks off May 6, plus sneak peek into the house!

It’s only a few days before Big Brother Stargame introduces a new group of larger than life, must watch TV personalities to African television audiences and for fans of the reality super-series that day can’t come soon enough. The show begins on Sunday May 6 in the brand new launch timeslot of 20:00 CAT, and will screen live 24/7 for 91 days on DStv channel 198.

PRIZE: With an attention grabbing ‘winner takes all’ grand prize of USD 300 000 at stake, plus the new ‘doubling up’ of contestants entering the series with partners, BIG BROTHER STARGAME is set to provide more of the entertainment, romance, action, suspense and drama that the series is famous for!

HOST: Returning to the Big Brother stage as series presenter this year is one of Nigeria’s most famous faces IK Osakioduwa, making his fourth appearance at the forefront of the show since taking on the role in 2009. In his charismatic, capable hands lies the truly daunting task of anchoring a series that includes a live one hour Sunday eviction show every week!  But the former Studio 53, Comedy Club and Temptation Nigeria leading man has proven that he’s more than up to the task of keeping viewers up to date and informed. But he’s not the only star returning to the spotlight this week when Big Brother returns…

HOUSE
: The Big Brother house, a character in its own right, returns as well, studded with 53 cameras and 120 microphones. Once again, the house features a bold new design in line with the theme of the series. This week producers provided a sneak peek into Biggie’s revamped hideaway, and it’s a contrasting combination of retro fusion and glittering glam all the way.  From the look of things, there are two contradictory styles at play leading to the question…what’s Biggie up to now?

One look is definitely inspired by the diners of 50s Hollywood, colorful pastels and bold bright shapes accented by the iconic black and white check patterns, bringing back memories of jukeboxes, bunk beds and soda fountains. The other is sleek and sophisticated, echoing a classy and exclusive dance club where opulence and luxury are the keys to a good time. Polished glass, gold finishes and delicate accessories…its style meets elegance all the way!
The latest images from Big Brother are sure to keep its fans guessing and it’s these fans who remain firmly at the heart of the show’s success.

ONLINE: Just weeks after the new season of Big Brother was announced this year, fans already recorded another series milestone, with the official Big Brother Facebook page winning an astonishing 700 000 likes while its Twitter base grew to almost 100 000 followers. With the series now days away, those numbers are set to rise and in recognition of the large online following that the show attracts, this year, the two hour live launch show will be streamed live and free at www.africamagic.tv/bigbrother, starting at 19.45 CAT.   So if you can access the internet, you can watch!

STAR: Set to perform three of his hit-making songs, sensational American music star J.Cole will take to the stage at the Big Brother StarGame launch, kicking off the show in fine form! He is expected to perform Can’t Get Enough, Nobody’s Perfect and Work Out but whatever he chooses on the day, it’s sure to be something that fans will love. Remember to check out Channel O for all the behind-the-scenes footage from his trip to Africa!
So that’s the scoop of Big Brother for now…remember it all starts at 20:00 CAT on Sunday May 6!
Big Brother StarGame is headlined sponsored by Coca-Cola and produced for M-Net’s AfricaMagic by Endemol South Africa.

Nadia Buari to go into Singing?

Nadia Buari
Ghanaian actress Nadia Buari has hinted of a possible move to join a number of actors and actresses who are delving into singing.

Nadia Buari will then join a long list of Ghanaian actors like Majid Michel, Kweku Manu, Agya Koo, among others, who caught the music bug recently- whether it is singing for charity or singing in TV commercials.
According to her, one thing she would always say to herself is “never to say never” and even though she hadn’t got a fantastic voice; she knew she could do something when she got into the studio.
“Interestingly, there is a recording studio in my father’s house and every now and then, I go there to do one or two things with my husky voice. So eventually I might make it up, who knows…” she stated in an exclusive interview in the second edition of the BITE International Magazine.

Asked what she foresaw in the Ghanaian movie industry in the next two to five years, she said, “I think we would almost be rubbing shoulders with Bollywood. We are growing and people are beginning to take movie-making more seriously”.

“We now have some movie institutions springing up and people are also getting educated. I am educated and I know that a lot of other people are following suit,” she added.
Touching on what she would rather be doing if she were not acting, Nadia said, “I would be an architect because I have the passion for good buildings, interior decoration and all that go with it.”
She pointed out that “you cannot imagine what goes in on my mind each time I pass by an uncompleted building; a million and one ideas come to my mind on what I can do with it”.

Smiling continuously when asked if she was currently dating any guy, Nadia Buari said, “I would like to keep that a secret”, adding that, “maybe I am, or maybe I am not”

SEAN KINGSTON DISAPPOINTS GHANAIANS FOR THE 2ND TIME

SEAN KINGSTON
I don’t think this man is ever going to perform in Ghana as he always find reasons to skip performing here. The last time, I heard something like how he’s afraid of mosquitoes. LOL. Well it’s not like he’s any big thing though, to me his days are past so him being here wasn’t any big deal.

The past few weeks, It was rumored that Sean Kingston was going to perform live in Ghana alongside R&B singer, Keri Hilson and when Ms Hilson confirmed her performance in Ghana on twitter, most Ghanaians assumed naturally that she would perform with Sean Kingston.  According to sources the deal with Sean Kingston couldn’t go through and he will be replaced by rapper, Bow Wow who was earlier linked to performing in Ghana sometime in June.

The concert with Keri Hilson is expected to take place on May 26.
This is the second time that Sean Kingston has failed to perform in Ghana after he pulled out from a concert with Fat Joe in 2008 due to issues of vaccinations, a few days to the gig. He was replaced by Omarion.
Well we will keep you informed as to when and how the show is going to be as Imajin Promotions planned it. Keep it locked.
