Lady Gaga Fears She's Destined To Stay Single

Lady GagaLady Gaga's new single is called "Marry the Night," and according to the singer herself, that might be the only thing that will ever accompany her down the aisle.
"I have an inability to know what happiness feels like with a man," the Grammy winner, 25, tells the new issue of Vanity Fair.
"I think what it really is, is that I date creative people. And I think that's what intimidates them is not my purse, it's my mind."
Gaga's words might come as a shock to her rumoured boyfriend, Taylor Kinney of The Vampire Diaries. But Gaga – born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta – herself admits she has failed relationships down to a science.
"It starts out good," she says. "Then when I'm in these relationships with people who are also creative, or creative in their own way, what happens is the attraction is initially there and it's all unicorns and rainbows. And then they hate me."
She adds, "It's a hideous place to be in when someone that you love has convinced you that you will never be good enough for anyone.”
Still, even if she is destined to be single, Gaga says she can always turn to her first love – her fans.
"When I fight with someone I'm in a relationship with, I think: What would my fans think if they knew this was happening?" she admits.
"How would they feel about my work and about me as a female if they knew I was allowing this to go on? And then I get out (of the relationship)."
Not that she's completely without those who adore her. Says Gaga, "I only know the happiness of putting a smile on someone’s face from the stage”.

THREE MONTHS AFTER MARRIAGE,MERCY JOHNSON GOES BLIND

That’s what News of the people is reporting.

Here is the full story.

Sultry actress Mercy Johnson is no doubt a woman that cannot be toyed with in the Nollywood when the names of who is who in the Nigerian movie industry or even in the world for that matter are mentioned.

This is based on the agility she applies to her craft to dish out what she knows how to do best, which has untimately made her a celebrity to reckon with, but that is not the story for today. The one now is very disheartening if not unpalatable.

Not too long ago, precisely August 28 2011,the actress was in the news, putting an end to a conflicting story which emanated at a scene on the he above mentioned date. But this time,it might definitely not be the best of time for the Kogi State born diva,Mercy Johnson as the news you are about to read may sound bizarre.

Undoubtedly,Mercy Johnson is one of the best actresses in Nigeria who has carved a nitche for herself before her much publicized marriage to Edo-born prince,Odi,which might not even confuse one whenever she is being link to several scandals.

According to the information,Mercy Johnson was said to have engaged in a combat on a movie location in Asaba Delta State, with a colleague whose name has not been revealed to us.The brawl,we gathered, made her to lose one of her eye balls in the ensuing brouhaha.

Information from other sources however claimed that ever since the unfortunate incident, newly wedded Mercy Johnson has found herself pitiable in the unbelievable situation,as her family members have been running helter-skelter to ensure a surgical operation for her in London,so that the eye can at least return to a manageable state as the damage done to the right eye is very gory.

On the heels of this,we placed repeated and anxious calls to Mercy to know the truth of the matter before going to press, but our efforts proved abortive as her phone kept ringing without response.

But before the temper of you lovers of Mercy begin to palpitate, let’s quickly tell you that the flick we are referring to was written by Micheal Jaja, continuity by Prince Apex, costuming by Chioma Okafor,props/set by David Aginwa(Ghana) make-up by Gabazzini, managed by Boniface Ogbonnaya, produced by Magic Movies, and finally directed by Micheal Jaja.

What a great combination of talented hands to give out such a great piece of work.

Prostitutes Rape Pastors In Delta

Two men of God were over the weekend allegedly lured to patronise harlots at a popular brothel at Cable Point, Asaba, the Delta State capital, when they went there to preach to the ladies of easy virtue.

It was learnt that the pastors from a very popular church along Ibusa Road in the state had visited the area to convert and win over the sex workers to their church, but they were themselves seduced by the prostitutes who had sex with them and later burnt their Bibles and clothes.

Sources said the men of God (their names withheld) had resolved in one of their meetings to win many converts, especially the prostitutes who stay in brothels, in order for them to grow their church’s membership.

Cable Point is a notorious stop-over for hoodlums and has the largest number of brothels and casinos in the south-south region.

An eyewitness said that preachers had gained audience with the harlots but after a period of time they were disoriented by the sudden display of breasts and other revealing body parts which reportedly hypnotized the preachers. Their hosts then took them into their rooms where they were said to have performed ‘quickies.’

It was later learn that fight broke out when the evangelists regained their composure and insisted on not paying the harlots’ bills, arguing that that was not their original mission. During the scuffle, they ladies reportedly burnt the pastors’ Bibles and clothes......

But who is to be blamed, the prostitutes or the pastors??

Tiffany's Blackmailers and Robbers Arrested

Female rapper Tiffany Hayden of ’Fake London Boyz’ fame just tweeted that, the police have arrested those who robbed her house and stole her phone containing private naked photos…

It is reported that the photos got into the hands of another set of people ‘blackmailers’ who tried to extort money from her and her management. For whatever reason, the photos were leaked online few weeks ago.

Tiffany tweeted saying… “Ghana police got their hands on the Robbers n blackmailers. Massive tnx to my Fanz,Gh Police,My Tema Team and Sydi Buari.

(Eii) I’ve A Child Who Is Older Than ‘My Wife’ - Pastor Love

The love drama between gospel singer Christiana Love and her yet-to-be-divorced husband, Pastor Love Hammond, will simply not end as the ‘telenovela’ takes new twists and turns by the day.

Pastor Love has come out to categorically deny claims that he was being hauled to an Accra court because he had refused to play the fatherly role in the life of a five-year-old child he had with another woman. But Pastor Love, who is yet to overcome the troubles he has with his musician wife Christiana Love, told News-One that the only child he had outside marriage, was a grown daughter, who was even older than Christiana Love. “Christiana knows I have a daughter before we got married and that is the only child I have outside marriage.

It was before marriage and as I said she is an adult and older than Christiana so how can that adult daughter now be presented as a five-year-old boy,” Pastor Love said. The allegation was first put out by a UK-based journalist, Kwame Frimpong, in an interview with Happy FM, an Accra based radio station. Kwame Frimpong told Nyansaboakwa, the host of Happy FM morning show that Pastor Love was being dragged to court for failing to fulfill his fatherly responsibilities.

The pastor said he had no idea where the allegation of having a five-year-old son was coming from and the motive of the persons spreading the story about him. “I leave them to God. I don’t want to talk about this matter again because anything I saw gets twisted by the same journalists who pushed me to talk. I would not sue the person making this allegation, I would just leave the journalists to God,” Pastor Love noted. Pastor Love and Christiana Love recently leveled wild allegations against each other and it became clear that their marriage was heading for the rocks.

While Pastor Love alleged that Christiana was having a secret extramarital affair, Christiana accused her husband of rape, theft, incest, murder, idolatry and a litany of unprintable allegations. The pastor however concluded that the problems he was having with his wife were because of her mother, who had vowed to end the marriage. When the noise between man and wife died down, Pastor Love, in an interview with News One, denied that he was no longer the legally recognized husband of the award winning gospel musician, Christiana Love.

Hallelujah….Tiffany’s blackmailers caught!

Sometimes last week, we broke the news about Tiffany phone being stolen and some ‘private’ photos were leaked online. Fast forward to this week and the picture above shows what Tiffany tweeted yesterday about the perpetrators that tried to put a dint in here career . We thank God they have been caught by the Ghana police. Kudos to the Ghana police, it seems they are really doing their job. More vim to Tiffany.

She revealed the identity of her ‘robbers’ and according to her it was 3 Nigerians that did it!!
Flash Back!!!!!

Azonto 4 life

2011 shall definitely be remembered for so many things in the entertainment industry - both locally and internationally - but as the year draws to an end, one thing that many Ghanaians are very likely to enter the New Year with is the AZONTO dance.

Ah!!! Is AZONTO a description or a dance? It could be either of them depending on who is using the word but it certainly has gained recognition as a dance more than a description.

Amazingly it has become a craze and almost everybody; I mean everybody is fascinated by it. There are those who are bent on learning it so that at least they can ‘belong’.

Although the history of the dance is sketchy, it is believed to have started somewhere in the southern part of the country and has several suburbs in Accra including Dansoman, Tema and Nima claiming ownership.

The dance moved from second cycle institutions through the streets, into night clubs and parties and has now ended up in church.

You will be amazed the number of people in church and of all ages who dance to any rhythm with a slight azonto twist. There are some so-called ‘big men’ who attempt doing the dance in churches but are careful not to be seen as ‘unholy’ because the dance requires some very free-minded movements and comes with an attitude of its own.

Some of the movements in the dance include washing, making a phone call, driving, boxing, making-up amongst others. It requires a lot of flexibility to be executed professionally.

There are those who have made a total mess of themselves in an attempt to do the dance but are hell bent on being pros before the year ends. More grease to your elbows and knees because they would need them to accomplish this task.

If you YouTube azonto, you will get an avalanche of video results of people doing the dance and that is where people who are shy to ask for proper tutelage in doing the dance have resorted learning the moves. We wish them well. I strongly believe the dance has come to stay and we would be better off taking advantage of its popularity and making some ‘azonto’ capital out of it.

Our musicians who have fuelled the popularity of the dance through their songs are cashing in on it big time and are releasing songs with rhythms that go with the dance.

Big ups to the likes of Sarkodie, Eduwodzie, Stay J, 5five, Castro and of course Ghana’s ace striker Asamoah Gyan for propelling the dance at the international level.

Asamoah Gyan might as well be the ‘azonto’ ambassador.

Nkawkaw Kwahuman JHS wins inter-school quiz competition

Kwahuman International Junior High School (JHS) scored 54 points to win the Eastern Regional inter-schools Constitutional Quiz Competition, organized by the National Commission for Civic Education(NCCE) at Koforidua on Saturday.
They were awarded with a trophy, a wall clock , pocket size constitution, a constitution game, certificates and notebooks.
Advent Reform JHS took the second position with 40 points whilst El-Shadai JHS and VRA JHS had the third and fourth positions with 30 and 26 points respectively.

Ms Andrianna Kandilige, the Eastern Regional Director of Education, in an address read on her behalf, congratulated the NCCE for organizing such a programme which targeted the youth who are quick to learn and can easily be used as agents of change.
She said the quiz was not just a competition but a way of sensitizing the young ones about the needs of the country.
She, therefore, advised the students to educate their parents and peers through discussions and also help others to live and practice the knowledge they had gotten through the competition.
In all, 21 schools representing the 21 districts in the region took part in the competition .

Blows Over Ghanaian Actress

News One has gathered that the shoot of a new movie titled ‘Asylum Down’ did not end on a quiet note following reports that the lead cast of the movie tried re-enacting the movie’s script in real life.

Sources told this paper that Nigerian actor Scott Robert, one of the lead actors, was in a fight with a rising Ghanaian actor over lead actress Magdalene Mensah, while he was in Ghana for the shoot.
Scott and the Ghanaian actor, whose name was given as David Hans, are both in love with Magdalene.

Both guys are very good friends who are madly in love with Magdalene to the extent that each of them tried to destroy the other to the actress. Unfortunately, they couldn’t succeed with their plans as the only option to win Magdalene was to physically assault each other.

NEWS-ONE’s source said “hell broke loose” at the Afrikiko Restaurant a couple of months ago when the two men engaged in a real fight in front of their friends and patrons at the pub over the actress.
They broke bottles and were about to kill themselves. Producer Sorag, son of veteran producer Hammond Mensah of HM Films, and his friends managed to separate the two.

“Sorag was made to pay for damages they caused at Afrikiko. It was really crazy. The lady loves the Nigerian guy. You know some of these our Ghanaian ladies and Nigerian guys. But David was the one who made the move first and he has been talking to Scott about Magdalene. But Scott goes behind him to tell Magdalene other things,” the source added.

NEWS-ONE’s attempts to contact Scott, Magdalene and David proved futile. Producer Sorag won’t pick his calls to react. When this paper finally got through to him on Sunday morning, he said he was driving around Mallam Junction and would call back after reaching his office, but he did not.

The new movie features a number of rising actors from Ghana’s movie industry, with John Dumelo as one of the lead men.

Ex-boxer severs own penis

A 64-year-old retired boxer, George Kofinti, is recovering at the Hohoe Municipal Hospital after severing his penis.
According to him, it was in response to an “order by the Holy Spirit”.
George Kofinti, popularly called, 'Who are you?' was seen naked with a knife, chanting war songs and dancing.
He was later seen with blood covering part of his body. His neighbours, suspecting he might be in some difficulty, telephoned the Police who rushed to the scene.
Mr Kofinti was found semi-conscious lying in a pool of blood.
They found a cut up of his penis and rushed him to the Hospital for medical attention.
Medical Superintendent of the Hohoe Hospital; Dr Edwin Danoo has told the GNA Mr. Kofinti is now in stable condition.
But sources close to the GNA reveal the victim suffers occasional mental imbalance, which could have led to the incident.

Do You Want Us To Date Poor Men - Nigerian Actress. Halima Abubakar

“Do you want us to date poor people? I don’t understand what you mean by that” were the words of Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar when she was asked about reports that some actresses dated rich guys to make more money in Nollywood.

“Maybe they do it, but I don’t and that is a matter of choice. People are free to live their lives the way they want and being a noble woman, I believe that a woman’s body is the temple of God and pride to her future husband. If she decides to live irresponsibly and ruin her life, it’s her choice,” she added when nigeriafilms.com further asked her if some of them engaged in other “activities to make money.”

She also confirmed reports that some women harassed men in Nollywood. “Yes, they do because a lot of confused girls that came into Nollywood lately don’t know their bearing as they just came flaunting their bodies and when somebody tries to show interest in them, they cry foul and say that they are being harassed, yet they were the ones harassing the men. They do it because they are not ready to work hard because you cannot tell me every man is harassing you sexually, so something must be wrong. Well, I’m an actress and when I am on location I see these things happening and when you try to advise them, they will tell you that they know what they are doing.”

The award winning Halima is currently among the ‘it’ actresses in Nigeria. She and her Ghanaian counterpart, Yvonne Nelson, are reportedly to be among thespians that dazzled on the set of ‘Mistresses’, a yet-to-be-released film from the stables of Halima’s Modehouz Films.

Halima has concluded work on the multimillion naira movie in which she played the lead alongside Yvonne, while other actresses like Mary Uranta, Ruth Kadiri, Moyo Lawal and a host of others also featured.

Directed by Ifeanyi Ogbonna, the film is said to be shot with one of the best film equipment of the moment.

‘Mistresses’ is co-produced by Stanley Ebonine. Halima, who was one of the recipients of the Afrohollywood Awards held in London recently, told Nigeria’s PM that, “I’m very happy over the success of this work. I want to thank almighty God for bestowing on me the talent and for making it possible for me to come out with this movie. I will also want to appreciate the cast and crew of the movie for their cooperation and to you my fans, get ready to enjoy it.”

Mills Fires Cameron On 'Homosexuality Threat'... UK Can Keep Its Aid

President John Evans Atta Mills has officially responded to threats by UK's Prime Minister David Cameron to cut aid to countries with anti-gay legislation saying Ghana would not accept any aid that has homosexuality strings attached to it.

He said Ghana, a sovereign nation, will not kowtow to undue pressure from the West to legalise homosexuality.

Interacting with media men at the Castle, Osu on Wednesday, President Mills stated that Ghana would go by the constitution because legalizing homosexuality has the tendency to destroy the moral fibre of society.

"Let me also say that whiles we acknowledge all the financial assistance and all the aid which has been given to us by our development partners, we will not accept any aid with strings attached if that aid will not inure to our interest or the implementation or the utilisation of that aid with strings attached would rather worsen our plight as a nation or destroy the very society that we want to use the money to improve," he said.

A tough talking President Mills maintained that inasmuch as Britain can initiate policies that reflect their societal norms, they do not have the right to tell Ghanaians what to do regarding their cultural and moral values.

“Let me make one thing very clear, no one can deny Prime Minister Cameron his right to make policies, take initiatives or make statements that reflect his societal norms and ideals but he does not have the right to direct other sovereign nations as to what they should do especially when their societal norms are different.

“I as President of this nation would never initiate or support any attempt to legalise homosexuality in Ghana. As a government we will abide by the principles enshrined in the constitution which is supreme. “Let me also state that while we acknowledge all the financial assistance and aid by our development partners, we would not accept any aid with strings attached if that aid will not inure to our interest or the implementation of that aid with strings attached would worsen our plight as a nation or destroy the very society that we want to improve”.

Free show "Mimi Flashes Her Yellow Underwear Again"

Mimi
Former Big Brother Africa housemate now turned musician, Wilhelmina Andani also known as Mimi has done it again.

The “Leave Me Alone” hit maker who reportedly flashed her yellow underwear at the reception of Okay FM earlier this year because according to her, the station had peddled some untruths about her, has done it again in front of over 2000 crowd.

Mimi, alleged to have bought some 'China' underwear on credit, angrily stormed the station to showcase her panties to prove that she does not put on inferior underwear.

Known as “Devalish”, she has repeated the act again but this time she was in a very happy mood dancing her heart out at the “Redlipsticks All Female” concert on Saturday October 29, 2011 at the Dome.

Mimi who appeared on stage in a skimpy Kente cloth wrapped around her waist and a shiny pink top tied at her back, flashed her yellow underwear she wore beneath the Kente cloth while she was dancing during her performance.

Even though Mimi made an effort to depict an African woman on stage, her costume did not help her. Apart from her funny costume she was not one of the best performers on the night.

She lost her voice in the middle of her performance and one could hardly hear her as she struggled to sing with her broken voice.

This is not the first time Mimi is making a fashion faux-pas on stage. She exposed her G-string panties at last year's Ghana's Most Beautiful

Pastor Love(C Love's 'Husband) Fights Adakabre of Adom fm

Pastor Love

Pastor Love Hammond, the embattled husband of gospel singer Christiana Love, has told NEWS-ONE he is not happy about the manner in which his collapsing marriage was handled on live radio by seasoned broadcast journalist Adakabre Frimpong Manso of Adom FM.

According to the pastor, Adakabre behaved as if he had taken sides in the issue and allowed Christiana to divert the issue under discussion to her advantage, making him a subject of public ridicule.

“When they called me, I told them that it was one Kate from Kumasi Tafo, the wife of Nana Yaw, who told me that her husband was flirting with my wife and that I should speak to my wife to stop what she was doing.

“I even told Adakabre that a journalist from Channel R, one Agyeman Prempeh, has a recording of Nana Yaw, confessing that he never knew Christiana was a married woman but Adakabre did not go into all that. He did not even bother to contact Kate so she could tell him how she feels about her husband and Christiana. Rather, he allowed my wife to go into other issues which she claimed happened years ago but she did not leave the marriage. Adakabre did not treat me well,” Pastor Love told NEWS-ONE in Twi.

Adakabre, on his part, has explained on his platform that his duty was to get his audience to know the truth of the matter involving Christiana Love and her husband.

He said it was for this reason that he gave the couple a balanced platform for them to clarify the issues.

According to Adakabre, during the live radio debate, his production team received several damning reports on Pastor Love, with some people even ready to call him to give evidence against the pastor but he restrained them because he did not want to sound biased.

When NEWS-ONE asked Pastor Love for the contact details of the said Kate so the paper could contact her to find out if she indeed suspected her husband was dating Christiana Love, he said he had her contact details on another phone and that he would make it available later.

Two Plots of Land

Pastor Love also put the blame on the doorsteps of his mother-in-law. He alleged that he had bought and paid for a parcel of land for her and was preparing to put up a building on it when the trouble got out of hand.

“I insisted that I would register the land and building in the name of her grandson, Junior Love, who is my son but she said no and that I should register the land in her name and this was what actually started the problem.

“She was a constant part of my marriage and would not let us have our peace. I remember that she was the one who sent the drinks to my relations that Christiana does not want to marry me again but we did not accept the drink,” Pastor Love added.

Pastor Love recently hopped from one radio station to another alleging on authority that he had every reason to divorce Christiana because she was committing adultery with another man by name Nana Yaw and that she might even be pregnant for the man.

That allegation has turned out to be an ordinary hearsay with no evidence whatsoever, and when Christiana challenged Pastor Love to prove his allegation, his response has been that it was a certain pastor friend in Europe who told him of the supposed relationship between the gospel singer and a certain Nana Yaw.

Christiana Love has meanwhile accused Pastor Love of very damning marital offences including rape, domestic assault, theft and sheer exploitation.

GHANA’S TOP 10 ROOKIE RAPPERS

The Top 10 Rookie Rappers is a list of the sensational newcomers in the music industry who have wooed listeners with their ferocious rapping capabilities, earning them a reputation as potential heavyweights of rap.
The criteria for grading the Top 10 rapping wiz kids is based on factors as emergence of artiste within not more than two calendar years mainstream, weighty content, lyrical potency, creativity and originality. It is important to note that popularity and/or initial achievements are NOT factors, even though artistes require some level of these to make the grade.
Here is the list of the Finest 10 Rap newcomers in Ghanaian music!

10) DEE MONEY
Debuting as something of a stage-escort for Hip-Hop heavyweight D-Black, the English-tongued rapper has since grown into his own personality dropping sensational verses on his own Kpokpo Body single and rocking Nigerian Ice-Prince’s Oleku official remix. A ferocious performance on the Dj Bring it Back joint alongside Chase the Ink and D-Black was enough to get the stylish lyricist a spot on the Top 10.

9)TIFFANY
Tiffany might just be Ghana’s best female rapper currently, arguably out-shining Eazy for lyrical potency and solid deliveries. The versatile rapper does it all, deep Western Hip-Hop music and of course the commercial equivalent, but there is however no denying that Tiffany always is on-point regardless of which beat she puts her voice. If there was any other female that dominates the beats better than this cat, then I have not heard her yet!

8) D-CRYME
Light skinned D-Cryme has made as much waves for his lyrics as for his good looks. Another of a new breed of rappers that combine singing with rap, the Twi-Pop icon has impressed the industry with his humor, creativity and that fusion of conversation with either someone in particular or all of us embedded within his unique lyrics and stylish delivery. If D-Cryme could not move the critics on his two-way hit singles Me ne woaa and Kill me Shy, he definitely got on the right side of their heads with his mega verse on D-Black’s Get on the Dancefloor.

7) E.L
This artiste’s rap flaws are as few as the letters of his showbiz name, and had it not been a self-preference for singing, his name would have no doubt been closer to the top of the chart. E.L does it all, metaphors, punch lines and puns and with an added ability to sing just as well as any other R&B star you should be slapping me for ranking him this low. Perhaps you could spare me on the ‘alibi’ that his better rap performances have been on the low-low, making most of his well-deserved mainstream successes for his singing and beat-producing qualities.

6) OPANKA
You know when Opanka raps you listen, a bit like the current best rapper Sarkodie, because you never know what to expect next! The difference between the two is Opanka’s rather annoying weakness for the occasional weak lyrics just to make the song rhyme. But every good rapper should have that element of surprise and the rapper has it in ten-folds, along with a verse-load of jaw-dropping punch lines, over-the top creativity and de-stressing humor lyrics when on his game.

5 JAY TOWN
The former Sprite Emcee Africa finalist deserves a spot in any rap chart merely for his dedication to drop bars much heavier than prison gates. If other rappers focus on fan appeal, Jay Town aims at scaring all other cats. And though his Guns and Roses single got a nomination at the 2010 GMA, you think he should have been actually awarded for Best Rap performance. Solid bars, potent flows and conscious lyrics characterize the rappers work. Only Jay Town got that much talent to make the track go…..BAM!

4) TRIGMATIC
When the 2011 Best rapper ranks fourth on a Top 10 chart list, there must obviously be something wrong. And really there is! The versatile artiste may have proven to be a good rapper but a self-caused reputation for being a rapping singer rather than a singing rapper virtually hampered the multi-talented entertainer’s chances of competing with the Top 3. Another very conscious lyricist with a knack for stand-out ethical content, these qualities have endeared Trigmatic to the fans, making his often amateur lyrics and soft bars a distant negative on the minds of music-lovers and to the anguish of his critics.

3) BRA KEVIN BEATS
Oh Oh Kevin (mentioned like James Bond’s very famous secret code 007) may be credited with releasing the only real undiluted rap song to be relatively successful in the last two years. And boy what a song it was too, that Three Headed Beast masterpiece going on to obtain 1012 views just under a month of its release on You Tube. The song was however enough evidence to cement Kevin’s place as one of the forerunners of Ghanaian rap music, highlighting the young Mr. Beats as a fine rapper with deep lyrics, hurricane punch lines and genius thinking.

2) STAY JAY
Might just be Ghana’s hottest rookie at the moment and well-deserves the hype for his astuteness at producing the hits- and of course the flow! The Tema-based artiste does not only churn the commercial hits but unleashes equally vicious verses unmatched by most rappers. The star gains a lot of credit for his ability to maintain his feisty bars on very commercial rhythms- and that we all know how difficult could be. The innovation in his lyrics, maturity of his flow and precision of his punch lines makes him overly worthy of a golden mention.

1) YAW SIKI
This kid looks everything like the heir to the best rapper throne! A super-rapper by many definitions, the R2Beez graduate is Ghanaian rap’s best-kept secret and his breaking through mainstream could have been earlier if he laid less value on dope bars. Everyone who heard the star while still behind the corridors of his shine would not have doubted that he was destined for greatness. Few deliver better than Yaw these days. Amazing fluidity on the lines, owns his original rapping style, plays on the beat and fixes more rhymes in a bar than anyone ever could- and it still makes sense after the work is done! If Siki’s got a weakness, then credit to him for concealing it well. Even on the very commercial Wope Do do single, Our Number One stayed on point with precocious rhythmic bars and story-telling lyrics that would have done most rappers in.
